Dear guys,
thank you very much for your work, it is helping a lot! I am not a “real” web developer, but I am learning by doing to make my own websites for various projects. This particular episode was very useful and I started using two of the apps right away and will probably use some more.
I particularly fell in love with the Newton E-Mail App, which I found to be super-useful because of having for the first time all E-Mails combined in one place, with snooze function and getting reminded when someone does not answer a particular mail and presorting for less priority. It really made a lot of difference. However, apparently it is getting shut down” 😳
I wonder if you have possibly already found an alternative?
Hi Susi! Leslie here, I was a long time newton user so I was really bummed to get the email that they were discontinuing it 🙁
I’ve since been using Astro and while it’s not perfect it has the features I really needed (snooze and read receipts) and it’s free! I’ve heard good things about airmail and spark but I didn’t like those as much as Astro.
Thanks for listening to the podcast! 😀
