On this week’s chat we had the pleasure of welcoming two newcomers to the show, Melissa Love of The Design Space Co and Michelle Nunan of Divi Soup. As two of the leaders in the training space for the Divi community it was great to have them on along with our regular hosts to discuss Divi ecourses. In this chat we try to cover the ecourses from two perspectives: from the user who may be interested in taking a course but may be unsure of which is right for them, and from the user who may be interested in offering their own courses for others.
Divi eCourses:
- SiteSchool by Melissa Love of The Design Space Co
- Divi Academy by Michelle Nunan of Divi Soup
- Learning Made Easy by Geno Quiroz of Monterey Premier and Quiroz.co

Chris here from LifterLMS. Thank you for sharing your experience from the Divi community with e-courses. It’s really great to hear how some of you are using LifterLMS. We’re stoked to be collaborating with the Divi community!
You’re welcome Chris, thank you for supporting the Divi community. The future is bright for Lifter LMS and Divi users. Thanks for you and Thomas’ support. I only wish I had reached out to you to participate in this episode. Maybe we can have you on in the future if you’d like to be on :).
Thanks Chris. It is a wonderful collaboration and I am excited to be part of the LifterLMS community as well.
Hi everyone
Thanks for yet another very helpful chat. It was very informative and packed with great e-course tips. I always look forward to your shows!
If I may, I do have a question for you guys.
I have a course forming up and I listen to everything I can find about e-courses. One thing that is never discussed though is content protection. Here I mean download prevention from behind the paywall. Every single course that I buy can actually be downloaded once you gain access. Even on sites such as Lynda.com which is surprising! I would imagine that they would have the means to build a Netflix style download prevention.
Do any of you have experience with new customers signing up only to quickly download the course and ask for a refund? Do you perhaps have any tips for tools or platforms that can keep this from happening or at least make it difficult?
Thanks. Keep the shows coming 🙂
Best regards
Michael Glans
Sorry I’m late with my comments here, I’m finally fully caught up on my Divi Chat listening! I just want to share that I have used LearnDash with Divi and they seem to “play very nicely together”, if anyone is considering using it on a Divi site.
